Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's Day mostly because I love my Valentine! Seriously, my husband is one very good looking man and I'm a lucky lady to have him as my Valentine every year :)

This Valentine's Day was a little more low key for us because of our Costa Rica trip coming up, but we still had a wonderful holiday together! Andrew went to a place called Communal with his boss and loved it, so we had been wanting to go there for Valentines. We made reservations 5 days in advance but still everything was booked for the 14th, so we celebrated at Communal on the 13th. And it was definitely worth the price of the food. It was so tasty! 

On Valentine's Day I woke up a little earlier than normal to make Andrew breakfast in bed before work. Usually I barely have time to grab myself a bowl of cereal to eat in the car, so today was considered a success for me! ha ha

Valentine's Day is the best holiday at school! The kids love bringing in their valentines to give to their classmates and everyone is happy and excited. This is just one perk of being a teacher....all the goodies from the cutest kids! Unfortunately, I don't love just chocolate plain usually, but Andrew does so luckily for him he gets stocked up on treats for weeks! 

After work we exchanged cards and gifts. I got Andrew this Padagonia onsie he wanted for skiing and he got me new black skinny jeans and black shoes :)

And now I just have to brag about my thoughtful husband! He unfortunately didn't have President's Day off :( so he got up early and left for work but I slept in and woke up to this note! He is just the greatest. 

I felt like quite the housewife today...and enjoyed it too! Woke up and ate breakfast, cleaned the house, ran errands, went shopping, got my nails done, met Andrew for lunch at Which Which, went grocery shopping for the week, came home and prepped dinner, cleaned house and vacuumed, and went and worked out all before 5 o'clock! :) I forget what it's like to get things done in the day since I work all day....it's nice!
