Traveling from country to country was super easy with the train system in Europe. The tickets were easy to buy ahead of time which made our traveling so much better too.
A lot of my friends had told me that Munich was one of their favorite places they had been to in Germany, so we decided to spend our time there. There is so much history in Germany, so we spent our days going to museums, visiting old churches, and eating so much good food and gelato. After we got home we may or may not have gone through several gallons of gelato after developing an addiction... :)
Marienplatz
For only 2 euros, you could climb up like a couple hundred of these tiny steps to overlook the city of Munich. It gave an awesome view of the Marienplatz.
Going through the Munich Residenz was huge!! And full of beautiful design.
Munich was having their spring festival while we were there so we wanted to go see what it was like. It was basically a little Octoberfest with lots of beer tents, carnival rides, and carnival food. We walked around and ate dinner and then walked around the city some more before going back to the hotel.
