Charlotte Home Tour: 2nd Floor

Finally getting around to posting the rest of the pictures of our house. Funny because we don't even live there anymore!

After I graduated nursing school and accepted a job downtown, we decided we wanted to move closer to work and downtown living. The only problem was that we owned a house in the suburbs and it is so dang expensive to buy a house downtown! We found someone to rent out our house immediately so we just found an apartment to rent out for this year. The people renting our house want to buy it so we'll see what happens. Our dream would be to end up in a house on Queens Blvd here in Charlotte.....we can dream right? We might just have to win the lottery to make that dream come true!

Master bedroom-- loved the big room and lots of natural light. Didn't get a picture of the bathroom and walk in closet before we moved.

Hallway outside our bedroom with one staircase

1st guest bedroom-- Andrew built the bed frame one weekend while I was out of town and picked out the new light :)

2nd guest bedroom--

I guess I never took a picture of the 3rd guest bedroom. I only have a picture from the previous owners who made it their daughter's play room. We just had a bed in there and used the walk in closet for storage.
Buy always gets so sad when we are packing things up. Wouldn't leave our side to make sure he didn't get left!
Upstairs bathroom-- Andrew ripped out linoleum from this bathroom and added this gray tile we picked out. Love my handyman and grateful for all he did for our home!

We loved this house! Who knows if we'll end up living in there again after this year or if we will sell it but it has lots of great memories for us. We had lots of guests come stay here and loved every second of it! Right now we are living in a tiny apartment, seriously....2,000 square feet less than what we had in our house!! :( but I am LOVING my 3 minute drive to work, being close to everything, walking to different restaurants for date nights, and walking across the street to Target and Trader Joes whenever I need something. Different way of living but it's fun too.
