I had the blood test done at 14 weeks to find out the gender and also to see if baby had any chromosomal defects. Thankfully everything looked normal with the baby and I picked up the gender results on a Wednesday but had to wait until Saturday to find out! Those were the hardest days waiting to know.
Andrew and I went up to Maryland that weekend to have a gender reveal BBQ with the Harding family.
GIRL!!!!
I was so so so happy to find out it was a girl! I had been dying to have a girl and couldn't wait to buy all things pink and all the hair bows! Andrew was hoping for a boy (but since I'm writing this 1.5 years later he couldn't imagine life without his little girl now!)
